So first things first. I didn't go to the first home game of my freshman year. Oops. My sister, friend Sopie, and I were driving to Provo Art & Frame (to buy some ink for one of my classes) when the sky opened up and flooded roads, parking lots, and—you got it—the football stadium. The weird thing about Utah is that the skies are so open and the clouds seem so close to you. They're always getting caught up and mingling with the mountains. To clarify, the black at the bottom of the photos was part of that storm. It reminded me a lot of this concert that also had weather delays because of a similar severe storm. And it reminded Liz of the artwork for this album. I'd have to agree with her. It was insane.
On Monday and Wednesday mornings, I have an hour to kill between two of my classes. I'm going to be sad when the weather gets too cold to spend the time outside on a shaded bench reading or writing in my journal while I listen to Moon River on repeat. It's part of my routine now.
love the second-to-last photo a whoooooole lot. and you. I love you a whole lot, too.
