"We Put The Dance in Sundance"

(Harry Styles was in this car)

Here's the lowdown on Park City—January 18th, 2014.

My sister Emily and I met Ben Schwartz (he plays Jean-Ralphio on Parks & Rec.) and he was so kind and hilarious. We even saw him later that day and He remembered us! Dan Stevens broke my heart a second time because he first left Downton Abbey and then only took a picture with my sister and not me. Maggie Gyllenhaal is so sweet I couldn't bear to ask for a picture—we had a few small conversations as she walked in and out of an interview tent. She's TINY! Ashley Greene took a picture with every single fan that mobbed her. I really admire people who manage to stay humble. There were chance sightings of Anna Kendrick, Zach Braff, Jack McBrayer, and Donald Faison; I also talked to a few people that saw Zoe Saldana and Mark Ruffalo as well.

This is so out of control that it deserves its own paragraph: Harry Styles was inside a building near where my sister and I were standing when his car pulled up. That's one person I don't blame for not acknowledging his fans—the last time I saw a stampede that insane I was watching The Lion King. Girls were running down slippery staircases and trying to run after his car—out of control, I tell you. I'm surprised no one was injured!! I was hoping that in the midst of the craziness Joseph Gordon-Levitt would slip by unnoticed and I could ask for a picture or something. No dice, unfortunately. Next time!!

We attempted to get into a showing but the E-waitlist is the downfall of us all. It was still fun to walk around and see a few people and I also picked up about 6 free different cinematography magazines and am in love with them. All in all it was a successful Saturday. (Speaking of success on Saturday the 18th, Vocal Point, your choice of a Newsies medley was perfect. If you know me at all, you'd know that my favorite thing in this world is Jack Kelly. If you don't believe me, see here, here, here, and here.)
