My new best friend: a bag of frozen vegetables to the throat. Also, I never knew that a body part as tiny as an eardrum could cause such excruciating pain. If it didn't hurt so much, it would've been a little more interesting when my mom whipped out a diagram and showed me where the pressure in my ears was building and why it was happening. Seriously though, I will be so happy when I'm recovered. I'll tell you one thing: I'm so much more grateful for my healthy body now---it's one of those things you don't appreciate enough until it's trying to heal from surgery or something.
Here's some more New York City to distract me from recovery...
Hoping you feel better!

okay one weird thing about frozen peas - one of my co-ops in school was at a vegetable processing plant. they'd take the veggies off the field, cook em, freeze em, pack em ...the works. i met my husband at that job in PEA SEASON. so you could be holding some true love frozen peas right there, lady. hahah i hope you are feeling better soon :)
