Last week, my parents and I went to see Roman Holiday in a local theatre. The theatre was recently restored back to its former art deco glory and it's so fun to see. I remember driving past it every Sunday for years and seeing all the sad broken windows as it got more and more run down.
Anyway, it was such a great outing. I forgot how hilarious that movie is. Such a classic. I also realized it might be the only time I ever get to see Audrey on the big screen! It was also fun to give my undivided attention to the movie as well. I'm all for watching movies, etc, while doing busy work, but it was a nice change to just sit in the comfortable seats and eat some chocolate while I watched.
I hope they show more old movies soon!
