I have an irrational fear of taking photos in the art museum. I know, usually it's just special exhibits that prohibit it for copyright reasons, but still. We went to see the Winslow Homer exhibit, The Life Line. It was fascinating, because they x-rayed the painting for the exhibit and showed through layers of paint, how Homer had changed things to come up with the final result.
After looking at that exhibit, we crossed the street to the main museum and off we went to the Impressionists and Post-Impressionism wings. Emily came with me, but Liz isn't in these pictures because she went off and did her own thing. Sad.
PS. a statue entitled Social Principles. Such a gem.
