rise and shout

The trip out to BYU has been fantastic so far! It's included lots of good food and good people. General Conference is always wonderful as well! I had the opportunity to go to the Saturday afternoon session, and later today, the Sunday afternoon session. 

I must say, my favorite part of going was seeing all the general authorities greet their wives afterwards. President Monson walked out with his daughter, Sister Dibb, and many others walked out with their wives. President Uchtdorf and his wife waved to everyone on their way out. The sweetest moment was when Sister Hales held her husband's hand as he was getting wheeled out of the conference center. These moments that you don't see over satellite were so sweet. 

Another great moment of the day:

"David Archuleta is in the MTC! He'll probably sing in the choir with the other missionaries!!"

"He JUST went to the MTC less than a week ago..."

"He is a PROFESSIONAL!"
