mixed feelings

here's the annual 'back to school' picture, 2011 edition.

don't worry, it's finally here. i know you've all been holding your breath.

i'm taking three ap classes this semester. how convenient that they happen to be all in a row, too. whatever, bring it on.

(don't mind me, our english assignment over the summer was to 

learn how to write in a sarcastic tone. i'd say that skill is mastered.) 

scout figured it was only appropriate that she join us for the photoshoot. we even matched.

i am, however, really looking forward to my second semester, overlooking the fact that i will be taking chemistry. that's when things start looking up. it's an easier workload, it's my birthday and i get my license in february! since i won't have much homework, i'll start the hunt for an after school job that has nothing to  do with farming. nothing. semester one can't be over soon enough, but i am so excited for february.
